Nightwing for SkylordAmelia

Let's see your sister make fun of your wallpaper now, Skylord. XD

This turned out pretty sweet, but it's still technically not done. I'll get to it eventually. But regardless, my new favorite by far!~

Okay, a little background about the character. ~skylordamelia (who is new here! Go say hi!), my RL friend from school, and I had what was more or less of a conversation about MLP: FIM. She didn't like it and was totally against it (she's not as much now, but you still won't get her to watch it) and I was for it. Over a while, we just poked fun at each other about it, and I asked her permission to draw her as a pony with bat wings and slit eyes and such with my character, Snickerdoodle, saying, "U mad?"

She laughed and said, "Go for it!" A day and a sketch later, I showed it to her and she liked it so much she asked for a picture of just her pony. After a long while of me having an okay sketch and not having the time to color it and everything, I finally was rendering my latest school project with a high resolution, so it goes without saying I was waiting a while. Well, I decided to pick up this pony again and color her.

I forgot that I never scanned it and just re-sketched it in Photoshop. It was, by far, the BEST sketch of her that i had managed to make of her yet, and took off with it! This is the result.

The name Nightwing was a long time in coming and was hard to come up with even though both of us were thinking about it. Nightwing finally came to me, and we ran with it. Well, okay, I ran away with it. The dark look of this pony made me want to make a fan comic with this particular kind of pony. I still need a name for them, though. Any suggestions?
